9R VAC - Fowl Typhoid Live Vaccine

9R VAC is a live Salmonella vaccine based on the “rough” strain of Salmonella gallinarum 9.
Salmonella gallinarum is specific for poultry and is 100% safe for humans.
For the prevention of S. gallinarum which leads to Fowl Typhoid in chickens & S. enteritidis infection in poultry which can cause human food poisoning.
9R-VAC induces a cell-mediated immune response in the intestinal tract, a first line of defense against Salmonella.
9R-VAC does not pose a public health risk. The vaccine is based on S. gallinarum which is host specific.
9RVAC lets producers meet EU Regulation (EC) No. 2160/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 November 2003 on the control of salmonella and other specified food-borne zoonotic agents.
